“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Dear brother and sisters,

As we begin with the reading of the scriptures today;

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

As I was reading these scriptures, I believe this is one of the greatest revelation that Jesus has revealed to us about the Holy Father. In this passages, I believe Jesus spoke the Father’s heart for the world. It is a wonderful revelation to those of us who is able to receive what the Father has done for each one of us when He sent His son to redeem us from our sinful nature through the messages of the cross. For Jesus said that “God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” Mathew 28:17

Therefore, for those who will receive the messages of redemption and salvation, they will be renewed in their mind and spirit and have the light of Jesus Christ shine in and through each one of their lives that will bring a significant change to each individual who believes, as the scriptures let us know in John 8:12 “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” And again in 2 Corinthians 5 :17. “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” For this reason Jesus spoke of those who are of light will come to the light, those who believe in God and accept what Jesus did And are call heirs with Christ, children of God.

Unfortunately, there are still many who have not come to the knowledge and acceptance of the free gift of God to mankind and who had rejected the Christ and his salvation. We must ask ourselves, have we come to the light that God has offered through His Christ for each of us or have we stepped away from His truth and walked into the hiding places of darkness. We may not want to come to the light because we are afraid to come to Him because we know that the truth and the light in Jesus will reveal the hidden darkness in us and that our deeds will be revealed. Jesus speaks of the love of the Father that is so great that He would send His own Son to take away our sin by His own death and that He did not do it to bring condemnation upon the earth, but that for every one to believe so that we may not be condemned. But those who do not believe will be condemned. As Isaiah speaks of the reasoning that God had with man.

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1 – 18

My dear brothers and sisters, if we can hear His voice today, as He is calling each of us to come out from the darkness, come out from our hiding places, come out from our bondage, come out from our fears, come out of our troubles, come out from our addictions and come out from the struggles of our lives and enter into this journey to walk in His light and truth and let the blood of Jesus Christ cleanse us from the things that holds us in bondage so that we may be lifted and be set free from all things in our lives that weight us down and bring us trouble. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20z. And also in John 16:33 Jesus says “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.””

May each one of us this day comes to term with God and seek to know Him eternally to let our souls and spirit enter a place of peace and grace through the dying and rising of His precious Son Jesus Christ our savior and redeemer. Amen.

Scriptures: John 3:16-21 – KJV

16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
